About us
At Al-Arqam Arabic school, the focus of our teaching is on development in the four primary language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing with the mutual respect between the Arabic and other cultures in a relaxing and fun atmosphere. We use a variety of teaching and learning styles in Arabic lessons. The teaching is through repetition, educational websites, group work, pair work, discussions, interactive activities, games, art and crafts. The aim is always to help our children learn Arabic the right way.
Al-Arqam Arabic school takes careful consideration and offers equal opportunities for both Arabic and Non-Arabic speakers in separate classes. The school adopt an integrated approach for the Arabic language and culture which consists of a rich and differentiated curriculum that includes a wide variety of resources to ensure that appropriate support is provided for each student from reception to GCSE level.

Our aims
The prime aim for Al-Arqam Arabic School is to ensure all students flourish and achieve their full potential in learning the Arabic language. We also aim:
- To offer students the required skills to communicate in Arabic.
- To increase their self-confidence to learn the Islamic heritage to strengthen their faith, correct their religious practices and improve their behaviour.
- To train them to recite Qur’an correctly, understand its meanings and learn Tajweed.
- To prepare students to pass the Arabic GCSE and aim higher to study Arabic A-level
- To discipline children about the need to preserve their own identity and religion in order to integrate positively in the society and serve it.
- To continue to implement and deploy technology in the learning process.
